I want to take a moment and send out an important message to all our Zandra’s taco lovers. First, my team and I cannot thank you enough for your support and loyalty during this hard time. We are doing the best we can. You are definitely keeping us going in spirit and in tacos!
Secondly, I did want to share with you that as of today you will notice a price increase on all our products. We have decided to change our pricing structure to include the cost of labor. Going forward, all of our team members will be paid a living wage. Tips will no longer be required or expected. As our guests, you will still be allowed to leave a tip if you would like; however, the tips will be shared with all team members equally. We are making these changes for several reasons as we have to adapt to this ever changing environment. Our team members have voiced that this structure is a positive and helpful change. Our employees will know what to expect on their paychecks and will no longer have to depend on tips alone. I also want to mention that our team has really rocked it out over the past few weeks by being adaptive and precautious. I am grateful for their commitment. In addition, I’m proud of our community for supporting one another and especially those in need. We gotta keep it up! Stay well and many thanks, Miguel Pires, Owner of Zandra’s Taqueria
